Stress sometimes is the way our body responds to the environment and it can be normal sometimes. How, too much stress can kill the brain cells.  This is a fact that many people do not know. Adrenal fatigue

The stress hormone known as cortisol is produced in the adrenal gland located on top of the kidney. Once the body is stressed, the adrenal gland will respond by producing the stress hormone. If you are constantly under stress, the adrenal gland will constantly be at work also. Some medical professionals are of the opinions that the stressing of the adrenal gland will eventually result in adrenal fatigue. This will cause hormonal imbalance which can result in a number of medical conditions such as inflammation and depression if it is not treated. However medical professionals are not all agreed on adrenal fatigue as a disorder. Lack agreement does not mean that it is not true or that it cannot happen. It is a possibility can be true.

Memory problems

Experts have discovered through studies that memory that is what we can remember and how well we can remember things can be affected by stress. If you want to enhance your ability to remember things both long and short terms memories, you need to avoid stress or reduce they way you stress out yourself.

Increased drug sensitivity

Nature has made it that only good elements enter the brain through the blood. Our body has mechanism know as blood to brain barrier through which unwanted materials are prevented from entering the brain via the blood. But if you constantly stress yourself out, this mechanism will become more permeable and this cause unwanted materials to enter the brain. The implication of this is that drugs that under normal circumstances will affect the body only may have effect on the brain if they enter into through the blood. This will increase your sensitivity to drug.

Accelerating the aging process

You can easily tell a person’s age from the look of his or her body. As you advance in age, the aging symptoms such as wrinkles will begin to show in your face. Though this process is inevitable, stress can facilitate it. People who are stressed normally look older than their age no matter the amount and type of cosmetic they apply.
