Sincerely listening to others helps us understand them better and be able to take better decisions for them. In return, our colleagues too listen patiently to what we have to say. This creates a sound two way communication between both the people.
Trustworthy: Our relationship with others is often marked by the level of confidence they place in us. A man is known by the words that he keeps. Our commitment levels should be realistic and be made with some serious thinking. Once we have done commitment, our approach should be to fulfil them as fairly as possible. Being trustworthy makes our colleagues, share their thoughts with us without any fear of being ditched.
Know what you say: The words that you utter should be prudently thought off. As on a workplace, people tend to pay a lot of attention to what you say. Mere gossiping around would make people to take you very lightly and pay no respect to your thoughts.

At a work place we can’t afford to be choosy and be selective with our colleagues. We may have our personal likings but when it comes to work, we should to be able to work with any individual. One should be able to understand their fellow colleagues concerns, feelings and motives.

To be able to understand everybody’s point of view and be able to manage that indifference makes a person near and dear of all. This also brings out the leadership qualities of the individual in forefront as he has to organize the entire group and lead them to common organizational objectives.
Don’t criticise People: to make mistakes is very human and instead of criticizing people, one should encourage them to learn & raise their confidence level in a positive and friendly environment. As a consequence, the colleagues don’t shy away with their shortcomings instead they share a comfortable platform and work hard on the problem areas. Cooperative: cooperation is an integral part of interpersonal skills as, being able to help others generates a sense of emotional binding among colleagues. They develop a mutual admiration for each others capabilities. Instead of being competitive, they honestly and cooperatively work for common objectives in a friendly atmosphere.
